Randstad are looking for a Project Director for an established principle contractor based in Kent. You will be reporting in to the Regional Manager / Board of Directors and will be taking responsibility for a portfolio of work worth £110 million across Education and Residential sectors in West London / Surrey.



Overview:

Our client is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties.



Our client operates across a broad range of sectors, including:

* Mixed Use
* Regeneration Schemes
* Healthcare
* Residential
* Commercial
* Education

Our client both constructs and develops education, healthcare and housing projects working in partnership with our key stakeholders including Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Commercial sector partners.



Role &Responsibilities:

As part of our clients continued success and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Director to join their highly professional and experienced team.

The position will be to over see and manage a portfolio of work worth £110 million which consists of 3 / 4 projects ranging in value across Kent and Southeast London.

The successful Project Director will be reporting to the Regional Manager / Board or Directors. Full responsibility for profit and loss, budgeting, design management and changes and successful delivery of each project is down to you the Project Director. You will work to achieve the expected net profit for each of your contracts; working with the commercial team and delivery teams to ensure the agreed cash flow is attained, production quality is achieved on time and to budget.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast paced, successful and driven construction team.



Ideal Candidate:

* The ideal candidate will be an experienced construction Project Director
* Preferably with residential and education new build experience gained with a main contractor.
* Experience in working on Education and Residential projects portfolios above £80 million
* Experience in running large new build projects consisting of traditional build and RC Frame
* You will have an excellent commercial awareness about you; along with strong profit and loss management skills.
