Role &Responsibilities:

The position will be to over see and manage a portfolio of work worth £110 million which consists of 3 / 4 projects ranging in value across Kent and Southeast London.

The successful Project Director will be reporting to the Regional Manager / Board or Directors. Full responsibility for profit and loss, budgeting, design management and changes and successful delivery of each project is down to you the Project Director. You will work to achieve the expected net profit for each of your contracts; working with the commercial team and delivery teams to ensure the agreed cash flow is attained, production quality is achieved on time and to budget.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast paced, successful and driven construction team.



Ideal Candidate:

* The ideal candidate will be an experienced construction Project Director
* Preferably with residential and education new build experience gained with a main contractor.
* Experience in working on Education and Residential projects portfolios above £80 million
* Experience in running large new build projects consisting of traditional build and RC Frame
* You will have an excellent commercial awareness about you; along with strong profit and loss management skills.

Competencies :
· Strong background in electrical and electronic fault diagnosis.

· Familiarity of PLC controlled systems, particularly Siemens S7.

· Honeywell Printa and printing press controls software application experience.
· Proven electrical fault diagnosis.

· Experience of servo drives and motors, particularly AMK, Bosch Rexroth and Danfoss.

· Experience of networking, servers and remote diagnostics in an industrial controls environment.
· Awareness of Health and Safety procedures.
· Experience or working alone and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
· Experience of working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
· Competence in working with 3 phase 415 volt supplies.

· Mechanical capability and experience.

· Possible management potential.

Qualifications: Trained to a minimum of HNC Level, or equivalent within Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
