They are looking for a Junior to Mid Front-end Developer to join the Web Team.

The role will include working closely with and supporting the senior developers to develop, deploy, update and maintain our portfolio of websites while helping push the department forward as a whole.

The ideal candidate must be proactive, inquisitive – a problem solver with good communication skills and self-motived to learn new technologies and techniques.

Working with us will give you the chance to work on a variety of different projects that will ask you to develop your skills further as part of a close-knit team within a ever-growing fast paced company.

With a passion for clean code and an appreciation for design you need to be excellent at the following:

• HTML(5), CSS(3), JavaScript
• Building websites using best practice techniques such as mobile-first and responsive design
• Good understanding of backend languages (PHP)
• Experience working with Joomla! Content Management System
• Accurately translate designs into code
• Excellent attention to design and layout details
• Willingness to work independently and take the lead on projects
• Understanding of JavaScript design patterns (MVC) would be a bonus
• Good standard of written and spoken English

They build bespoke templates using T3 framework with Joomla! for each project, the ideal candidate needs some experience working within this environment.

Health, Safety & Environmental Consultant

Established, leading UK property developer has an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety Consultant to join their ever growing health, safety and environmental consultancy.

Reporting to the Health, Safety & Environment Manager and working closely with all operational areas, you will be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety compliance across multiple construction sites, preparing written reports as needed, and delivering and developing our health and safety training services.

You will be responsible for, inspecting & auditing health and safety in a number of environments, including, Construction sites, Warehouses, Business Centres and offices, and providing reports.

You will also be required to provide training courses in health & safety (and preferably first aid.)

A competent individual with excellent communication skills, who is able to self manage and have a hands on approach, with the ability to undertake detailed reporting and statistical analysis, schedule and participate with audit programmes as well as driving the HSE programmes forward to continual improvement.

Role Purpose:

To develop, enhance and maintain the Aquarium Software System to deliver an efficient, robust, client management solution for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Aquarium to improve efficiency and quality within the business.
• Ensure accuracy of data and review functionality of the system in line with Insurance industry counterparts.
• Interact effectively with internal and external clients to establish requirements and propose pragmatic solutions that add business value.
• Ensure that controls are in place to enable testing in a UAT environment ahead of promotion to live.
• To provide professional and comprehensive support, direction and guidance to the members of the team. Other departments within the business where necessary and clients, on the implementation, design and delivery of all Aquarium products and services and in accordance with the agreed specification and business needs.
• To take complete project management ownership of each project you are given, regularly meeting with team members and colleagues to meet the objective of making sure each project is delivered on time, within budget and as per the technical specification. You will report regularly to the Senior Operations Manager and Head of Service Delivery, and client if necessary on the status of each project.
• To manage the recording of all work undertaken by you and your team in a timely and professional manner, using appropriate internal systems, in order to aid good client relationship management, knowledge transfer to other departments.
• To liaise with third parties on occasion in relation to their interaction with the Aquarium system.
• To undertake, when necessary, on-site and web based client application training.
• To attend / chair regular meetings and to minute and action all points.
• To maintain an excellent working knowledge of all aspects of Aquarium's software products through internal/external training as appropriate and personal self-development programmes.
• To uphold a positive and professional outlook at all times towards colleagues and clients.

This newly created position will support this impetus towards the development and integration of new technology. You will sit between the developers and the business, acting as a conduit to ensure harmony between business needs and technological innovations.

You will work closely with the MD and senior management to identify business requirements and expectations of technology enhancements. Having scoped the project and defined the parameters and goals you will then manage and co-ordinate the developers ensuring they have clear terms of reference, agreed time frames and understand ultimate objectives. You will monitor progress, resolve queries and lead testing, roll-out and all aspects of implementation.
To be successful in this role it is imperative that candidates have an in-depth understanding of the broker and MGA/Coverholder environment in order to understand the requirements of the business. * Experience producing technical documentation, from specification through to test plans.
* Full SDLC experience.
* Use of productivity tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira.

Advantageous experience
* Technical background (was previously a developer) and possesses a computer science degree (2:1 or above)
* Certified ScrumMaster, Prince2 etc. qualifications
* Consultancy experience
* Experience working on projects involving:
o Network infrastructure
o Content management systems
o Web, back-office and third party systems integration
o Large databases
