Our client based in Southend are looking for a material handler to move stock from the warehouse to various departments. Experience with counterbalance or reach fork lift driving would be desirable. You will be working inside and will need to be a conscientious driver.

You will be working in a high volume environment making sure the assembly lines are kept supplied with components for the assembly of electrical parts.

Duties include;
Checking SAP system to scrap parts from stock.
Booking components when the material has been completed and allocated into the warehouse.
Loading of finished goods on to a pallet and booking of parts on the SAP system. Wrap and send pallet to dispatch.
Occasionally helping out in the warehouse. Picking parts for the production line.
Can you demonstrate;
Hands on experience with the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Proactive “Can Do” attitude with a resourceful approach.
Must have a valid Counterbalance & reach forklift licence
Must be a careful and conscientious driver.

Our client is a global provider of in-flight catering and retail products to a variety of leading airlines. We are looking for an In-Flight Trolley Packer/ Bar Packer to work within their Bonded Warehouse at Stansted Airport.

You will be responsible for:

* Stripping down bars and duty free trolleys that are returned from the airport.
* Checking the returns against an inventory and transfer stock back to storage areas.
* Restocking the trolleys for the next flight by locating the stock in their Bonded Warehouse.
* Rebuilding the trolley to each specific airline's requirement.

Contracts are up to 40 hours per week until the end of October 2017, see shift pattern below.


Working hours:

* Split over 3 weeks.
* Weeks 1 and 2: 6.00am- 2.30pm (8 hours). Work 5 days out of 7- Includes weekend but will not be every weekend.
* Week 3: 6.00am- 4.30pm (10 hours). Work 4 days out of 7- Includes weekend but will not be every weekend.
* Temps must be flexible to work a late shift if necessary 2pm - 10pm.



Hourly rate: £8.24

Personal Attributes:

* You must have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
* You must enjoy working as part of a team in a fast moving environment. Deadlines are tight to ensure that flights depart on time.
* Basic numeracy skills.

You will be responsible for effective and efficient activities in repairing all machinery to National Standards. These activities include Planned Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Equipment reliability as well as using the TPM Operating System for the maintenance department, Optimising equipment reliability through a continuous improvement plan. You will report to the Principal Maintenance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
• Working strictly in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of yourself and all your colleagues
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use a lathe and mill to fabricate parts
• Proficient in MIG and ARC welding
• Having a basic understanding of the Electricity at Work regulations, including all safety rules applying to electrical work ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to at all times
• Responsibility for the facility maintenance, ensuring optimum operation of all ancillary and peripheral systems in the plant and warehouse
• Ensuring that all documentation i.e. electrical/mechanical drawings, pneumatic drawings, hydraulic drawings etc are fully identified and updated regularly
• Fitting new parts as required, or as part of a regular replacement, fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed
• Carrying out quality inspections
• Flexibility to ensure 24-hour cover is available
• Forecasting of spare parts
Education and Work Experience
• ONC/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and/or related field or City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering
• Inspection and Testing Qualification
• Demonstrable experience of related experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance or project roles.
Key Competencies
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems, electronic drives and controls.
• Good understanding and fault finding ability on AC/DC Control Circuits.
• Experience fault finding on safety circuits (light guards, guard switches, E-stops, Pilz relays)
• Familiar with HMI and Scada controlled systems.
• Basic computer software skills i.e. MS Office.
• Can do, positive and proactive approach to work.
• Ability/awareness of Siemens S7 Plc’s and have knowledge of other types i.e. Mitsubishi, Omron etc
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance documents i.e. electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
• An understanding of engineering regulations.
• Knowledge of and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.

An opportunity has arisen to join the team at Adore Recruitment. We are an independent Recruitment Consultancy based in Essex, and due to ongoing growth and expansion we are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our busy and growing team, based in Basildon.

Please note we work a little differently to other agencies, we don’t enforce strict KPI’s and calling times… we work on the basis that our passion leads us to do we do what needs to be done to best service our clients and candidates and this changes on a daily basis – so we are looking for people that can understand that principle and work as part of our team to best service clients and candidates utilising their skills.

Our key areas of expertise include; Commercial, Sales, IT/Technical, Construction & Engineering and we are recruiting talent to help us both service our existing clients and grow the business by building further opportunities. This is an ideal role for someone from a sales background or has some experience in recruitment and wants to develop this further in an environment that rewards success and nurtures individual talent.

You will be right for us if you can answer yes to the following;

You will be learning and developing skills in the following areas;
• 360 recruitment delivery
• Resourcing and selection of candidates
• Filing and management of all office documentation including Registration forms, Candidate packs and job descriptions
• Utilising our extensive database
• Arranging interviews
• Helping the job offer negotiations
• Responding to applicant requests and keeping both candidates and clients updated on interviews and feedback
