The successful applicant will be required to prepare and execute a sales plan, make regular telephone and email contact with allocated clients, identify when they are planning future tours, develop client relationships and convert requests into profitable business for the company. They will have a good geographical knowledge and understanding of tourism destinations within Europe and the UK. Experience of the travel industry is desirable

• It is essential that the candidate is able to prioritise and has effective time management skills. He/she will be able to identify where to focus time and effort for a profitable return.
• We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with a can-do attitude, capable of working as part of a team and experienced in achieving sales targets.
• This vacancy is ideal for a person who has natural sales talent, is commercially-minded and able to build strong client relationships.
• Identify, grade and target clients according to sales potential and schedule telesales calls (and occasional visits) with target clients according to when they are planning tours.
• Identify and target clients to sell existing allocations to, aligned with sales and profit needs and generate sales enquiries from clients and make sure that the right product is found to best match their purchasing profile and other specific requirements.
• Prepare Costings and Quotation, chase quotations and maximize conversion into confirmed bookings.
• Acceptance of the need to travel and be away on business overnight as necessary, although this will be minimal and advance notice will be given. • A positive attitude to additional tasks in line with business needs

Skills required:
• Relevant experience in travel, preferably with experience of tailor-made bookings with good general geographical knowledge of UK and European countries and tourist destinations.
• Computer literate inc., Word, Excel and Power Point skills.
• Experience of dealing with group travel preferred. Excellent communicator, talking to clients and listening and collating client profile information.

About the Sales Executive Opportunity

This is an exciting graduate B2B telesales role where you will be calling businesses, building up a relationship with them, and booking appointments for more senior members of the team. You will be qualifying clients by their requirements, risk that they are exposed to and explaining how the company's service can add value to their business.

You will be trusted with a lot of autonomy to manage your own desk and schedule your calls. You will get your own revenue targets and will be attending meetings and opening accounts yourself.

As the Sales Executive ideally you will own below skills and characteristics:
