Trainee Payroll Administrator
The Company & Role:
Forward thinking Independent Accountancy Practice with over 50 years in the industry are expanding their teams and are looking for a Trainee Payroll Administrator to join their team in Braintree, they also have offices in Maldon and London.
You will be responsible for processing over 400 clients, so ideally you will have some knowledge of Payroll.
Duties of the Trainee Payroll Administrator:
Familiar with a payroll processing program such as Star PayrollBe able to handle large volumes of dataKnowledge of RTI requirements (preferable)Knowledge of auto enrolment including processing of NEST transactions (preferable)Knowledge of CIS (preferable)Computer LiterateCommitment to learning new skills to develop your knowledge
Skills Needed for the Trainee Payroll Administrator:
Processing of all payrolls including weekly, monthly and annual for over 400 clientsTo input all new starters and leavers onto the payroll systemTo deal with HMRC in respect of basic queriesTo respond to and resolve payroll queriesTo liaise with the Payroll Manager to cover holidays within the departmentTo undertake the training requirements of the Practice in order to develop and progress your knowledge and skills and to follow the requirement of any apprenticeship route provided
