R & L Slaughter Ltd is a well-established and successful family run distribution business into the scientific and medical market segments.
The Company is about to embark on an expansion strategy that requires additional resources and we are looking for an experienced person to aid this growth.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable person with exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities for this position will include:-
• Promote additional company products from our major suppliers that would benefit our customers via the phone, email etc.
• Utilise the company databases, search engines and website responses to identify potential customers and target clients.
• Proactively identify and communicate with potential new customers.
• To develop and maintain existing customer relationships in your designated area.
• To identify new areas for growth for the sales area in your designated area.
• Visit customers at their location as necessary.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following criteria
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Relevant B2B sales experience (not necessarily with a scientific background).
• Good IT skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to work alone and also with a team.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivating.
The position will be 35 hours per week.
