Support Services Technician

Our Client, a local Manufacturing company, are looking for a Service Support Technician to join their busy team on a permanent basis. This role will be 40 hours per week.

Duties:

Provide support to repair operations teams.

Mixing of glue to company standards.

Responsible for the dispensing, distribution, refilling and disposal of old consumables and PPE equipment.

Procurement and management of safety stock levels for technical tools, PPE, jigs and consumables.

Setup and maintenance of equipment.

Creating, reviewing and updating Risk assessments and MSDS sheets.

Monitoring existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers.

Supporting the Warehouse with other duties such as: disposal of products,distributing parts to technical departments, replenishment of cleaning products and the disposal of chemical waste and general waste.

Skills Required:

Experience in a Service Support role is desirable.

Excellent hand/eye coordination skills.

Must be self-motivated, organised and able to work to deadlines

Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.

Ability to create structured instructions that can be understood by individuals with varied technical knowledge.

The right Candidate must present themselves in a professional and considerate demeanour, be able to work within a team effectively and be able to stand for long periods of time.

The company is based in Southend on Sea and there is onsite parking available.
