Our office is situated in a great location, close to rail routes in to London, Walthamstow and being on the fringes of Epping forest means this is a great up and coming area to work in.

Duties will include:
• Delivering high level of customer service by “out- passioning” our competitors.
• A high level of telephone work, following up leads, liaising with clients, gathering and communicating feedback on properties viewed.
• Some of your time will be out and about, accompanying our clients on property viewings so you must be able to drive and have your own car.
• Working to targets.
• Generating sales leads for mortgage appointment, viewings, conveyancing and valuations for our Listers.

As a part of the Business Development Team the Business Development Co-ordinator will co-ordinate and contribute to business development activity

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Outcomes:

To assist Business Development Manager (and their team) with the project management/coordination of submissions, presentations, etc. In particular with the setting-up of meetings, tracking key project dates and ensuring contributors deliver to schedule

* To provide administrative support to the Business Development Team

* To manage the tender 'portals', including identifying suitable opportunities, downloading documents and uploading tender submissions and to manage all other external interfaces including the e-mail inbox

* To support the Business Development Manager (and their team) in scoping new opportunities and drafting and finalising tender submissions and presentations

* To complete Pre-Qualification (PQQ) documents, and keep the PQQ database up to date and accurate in partnership with other Business Development Coordinators across the organisation

* To act as the first point of contact for all new business enquiries and maintain accurate records of these

* To maintain the Business Development 'Trackers' (Microsoft Excel spreadsheets) and use them to compile reports and report on these to the Business Development Manager

* To assist the Business Development Manager with research and liaison with external organisation and individuals in the gathering, collation and analysis of benchmarking information, market intelligence and commissioning priorities

* To gather organisational information and other marketing and submission information, and maintain central libraries and databases in conjunction with other Business Development Co-ordinators

* To attend internal and external meetings, representing the Business Development Team

* Design and manage filing systems in association with the Business Development Manager (and their team)

* Keep up-to-date with procurement practice

Experience Required

- Experience working in a business development role

- Experience of writing Pre-qualification Questionnaires

- Experience of managing own time and workload effectively

- Experience working toward targets and deadlines


- Knowledge and understanding of tendering

- Knowledge of EU procurement laws/ legislation

- Knowledge of Business Development

Full merchandising training will be provided although retail experience is essential.

Own transport is desirable unless you can commute with ease on public transport, although we do also operate a car share scheme.
As a regional supplier, the majority of the time you will work within your local region, although on occasions you may be asked to travel further, in which case you will be offered / provided with accommodation.

The role predominantly involves working night shifts and does include weekends, most working weeks commencing on a Sunday Night but with occasional Saturday’s also.

You will need to be flexible as you may be required to work at short notice.

You must also have a keen eye for the detail needed to ensure every bay is merchandised to a high standard. The role will require you to:

De-merchandise Stock
Profile to new Planograms
Merchandise to Plan
Replenish Stock
Face Up
Use of Hand Held Terminals/ RF Guns
