The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in telephone sales. The Role
To ensure bi-monthly advertising sales targets are achieved across online, newsletter and print platforms.

To develop and grow client base and client spend

To ensure all new business is followed up and converted to repeat business

To represent the portfolio at all relevant exhibitions and events

To make frequent calls to new and existing clients

To attend all relevant networking opportunities

To assist and advise advertisers with their artwork creative

The Role:

You can expect full SEO training on the job, along with coaching/mentoring and access to relevant industry conferences. You will directly support the Head of SEO in delivering results for the SEO team and you will be responsible for carrying out effective link building.

Candidate Profile:

The right candidate will be fluent in English and be a strong team player with good work ethics. They should also have an inquisitive mind, be willing to learn and progress.
As a Link Building Specialist you will play an essential and active role in how we further enhance our organic search visibility. Experience isn’t the most important factor for this role. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a vast range of skills including excellent communication, creative, analytical and problem solving skills. They should also demonstrate resourcefulness and have an ability to inspire.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Using a range of tools to audit and analyse our competitive landscape and uncover new opportunities and risks

• Monitor, benchmark, evaluate and regularly report on link building performance

• Initiate, develop and deploy content and content marketing campaigns • Demonstrate leadership in managing digital projects

• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team including Editorial and Social on day to day content and larger projects to achieve the SEO and business KPIs • Keep up to date with SEO, social media and internet marketing industry trends and development Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a great communicator (both written and verbal) and be a relationship-builder with a good telephone manner

• Have a strong outreach ability and be able to easily create and maintain effective relationships with key players in the industry

• Have at least one year’s experience in PR or Social Media

• Have a solid understanding of the role that content plays in Digital Marketing

• Experience in web and content development and design

• Be familiar with Google product line (especially GA, Search Console and Google Keyword Planner)

• Have an understanding of link-related ranking factors
